Washington University Wellness and Fitness Center Summary

Available to: Faculty, staff and students of Washington University School of Medicine
Location: 5th floor of the Irene Walter Johnson Rehabilitation Building (IWJ) Building at 509 South Euclid Ave. Access off of Euclid Ave. 
Facilities include: Walking track, organized group exercises classes led by nationally certified instructors 
Hours: 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday 
Fees:

Facility is free.
Class prices range from $5 per class drop-in fee, to $70 for unlimited classes during a 7-week session

Danforth Campus Programs

Washington University Athletic Complex
If you are interested in playing sports or working out, visit the Washington University Athletic Complex. The Athletic Complex offers a variety of sports activities such as swimming, tennis, and volleyball just to name a few.

Or, if you are looking for relaxation, visit the sauna.

Faculty and staff members have the opportunity to participate in a series of programs whether it's instructional, free play, intramural, varsity, or sports clubs.

The Athletic Complex is available at no cost to all full-time faculty and staff members with a valid picture ID. Lockers are available for a fee.

McWilliams Fitness Center
The McWilliams Fitness Center, located within the Athletic Complex, offers full service cardiovascular exercise equipment and conditioning programs which feature:

  • ellipticals,
  • treadmills,
  • bikes,
  • step climbers, and
  • cross conditioning systems.

Individuals must purchase a membership to gain access to the McWilliams Fitness Center .
